Then they Danced

Fairies sang to me

Elves laughed in revelries

Circling the forest floor

Every creature was smiling

I’d never felt so loved before!

So I Danced!

My Entertainer’s warned of the dangers here in the Fae Land

The Seelie Court said they could see me freely around

“Come on an adventure! We can venture Into the FaeWild!”

The Spriggans Say “Give us your name, and maybe you can stay!”

Lessons I learned, wisdom unearned, as destiny turned and returned

The Pixies claim “The Pucas Play, but The Wil-o-the-Wisp will lead you astray”

The Fae can never lie! I traded my Iron for Wine

“Drink up! Drink up!” They cheered and rhymed, “and you can stay for all of Time!

Here in this trance and Dance!”

Oh how we danced!
